New Dental Choice has established a standing public policy committee comprised of Plan management and interested members, responsible for the participation in the establishment of the public policy of the plan.
Public policy means acts performed by a plan or its employees and staff to assure the comfort, dignity, and convenience of the members who rely on the plan to provide access to contracted dental providers who have agreed to offer their services at contracted discounted rates.
New Dental Choice encourages participation by you in the Plan’s Public Policy Committee. The Public Policy Committee meets quarterly and Plan appoints selected Members to serve for a period of two (2) years.
The Public Policy Committee establishes Public Policy issues with the Plan, evaluates Plan performance as it relates to membership and reviews Plan materials. Members interested in participation may call, fax, or email the plan directly to request additional information.

The quarterly meetings take place at New Dental Choice’s corporate offices located at 5771 Copley Dr., Ste. 101, San Diego, California 92111. Members can participate in person if they reside within driving distance of the plan’s headquarters or they may participate through conference calls. All supporting plan materials will be provided electronically or by mail to remote committee members.
Quarterly Meeting Dates (subject to change) – Every 3rd Wednesday of January, April, July and October at 10:00 a.m. PST.
The report and recommendations are compiled by a designated committee member and approved by all committee members. This information is directly reported to the governing board for action upon the recommendations.
